It's a place to watch the sunrise with your daughter and sketch out the plans for your new dream home with your spouse, or imagine your next amazing business idea with your partner. It's a place to laugh with friends, and linger with your lover. It's a place to engage in a meaningful conversation, to listen, to share honestly, even to work through hard things in a way that unites and heals.
A Feast table is a place you can pause, breath, be still, connect with yourself and those you love, and imagine a future filled with hope, and joy, and goodness. We need spaces like this, now more than ever, to maintain balance, mental health, and internal peace. It's time to come home and to connect. It's time to feast.

Shou Sugi Ban 焼杉板
The unique beauty of a Feast table begins with an ancient Japanese technique called Shou Sugi Ban which translates to "burnt cedar board".
The centuries old technique involves charring the surface of the wood in order to preserve it against rot and weather. The result is a beautiful accentuated grain, rich darkened tone, and heirloom durability.
We absolutely love the table and it was the last item for our backyard remodel.

Each piece of wood is uniquely beautiful and suited to a specific color and finish. You can select from a broad color pallet and witness your piece come alive with river-like movement as the colored spring wood flows with the dark browns and ebony of the grain.

Sustainable Supply Chain
Millions of acres of forest have burned in the wake of the Northern Californian wildfires over the past three years leaving an incredible number of trees standing, dead, and waiting to topple as their bases give way to rot. These trees not only are a visual reminder of the devastation caused by the fires, but if not cleared, they will provide abundant fuel for future fires. Feast participates in the clearing of these century-old trees as they are permitted to do so by local landowners and authorities and uses this reclaimed lumber in custom pieces and tables as much as possible. From their ashes, these trees can be transformed into a thing of beauty and find new purpose as a gathering place for you and the people you love for generations.
